I am a design, font and strategy fanatic, and enjoy illustration in particular. I specialize in niche boutique marketing design for clients who want a combination of personal attention and spot-on strategy.
I worked as a social worker for Safe Place and Supportkids for 8 years before following my other passion, design. I received my BFA in Communication Design with honors from Texas State University. After honing my skills as Art Director with marketing firm PGC, I started my own graphic design studio in Austin, TX. My work has been recognized by Graphic Design USA, Creative Summit and The Houston Show.
I’m a member of the professional chapter of AIGA. I have helped clients like Duplichan Theater Consultants, and Summit Academy achieve next-level growth without comprising creativity. My creative influences include Luba Lukova, Andy Goldsworthy, David Lynch, Milan Kundera, Anaïs Nin, Rosanne Olson and Sigur Rós. I speak fluent Farsi, I love to grow food, spend time with my family especially if it’s outdoors. I’ve also been known to cut a rug.
